The tour was fantastic. Bruce the Tour Guide shared an incredible amount of knowledge about New York and the history of the city. He was very friendly with everyone. I really appreciated how he kept safety at the forefront by making sure everyone knew to hold the handrails when standing up.

Bruce is the tour guide to have whenever you take the tour. He kept us entertained giving us information and asking us questions. This experience was definitely enjoyable. The only issue was the time, the people we paid for the tour told us that a boat leaves every 10 mins and we paid $207 for 4 persons. By the time we reached where we were supposed to board the ferry it was 3:20 pm, then the people there told us the next ferry is at 5:00pm so we had to wait a while. Besides the time issue i would recommend it to anyone. 10/10

Honestly, this boat ride was one of the highlights of my NYC trip! 🗽 The crew were not just nice — they were like your cool friends who happen to own a boat! Super chill, helpful, and full of good vibes. The views of the Statue of Liberty were stunning — like, movie scene level. We got amazing pictures, a fresh breeze, and that perfect golden-hour light. If you’re in New York and not doing this… what are you even doing? 😂 Totally worth it — fun, relaxing, and absolutely unforgettable. Don’t miss it!

I urge you to take the one hour boat trip around the statue at the start of your vacation. Michael, arguably the best tour guide in the world, will tell you all you need to know about New York - not just the history of places visible in the tour, but where to eat, how to travel in the city and the best places to go during your entire stay. He’s been doing the tours for 38 years and tells us he is retiring at the end of the year so get in there and catch him while you can. Be prepared to listen, learn and participate. Have a kiss under the Brooklyn Bridge with your loved ones and see the city from yet another perspective. We made the mistake of going down to the southern tip of Manhattan to try and pick up a cruise, only to be bussed 20 minutes north. Save yourself some time and go straight to Pier 78, off 12th Avenue, about a 10 minute walk south from the Intrepid Museum. The terminal nearby has restrooms, refreshments and an air conditioned waiting room, all of which are welcome on a summer’s day. Want to learn about New Jersey on the tour? Guess what?? Michael’s not your guy. ;-).

There are two things awesome to this tour, the view and KEVIN. The waiting in line to wait for the ferry and boarding will tire you out at the start but once the ferry moves out of the pier, MAGICAL fun and excitement starts. Thank you for the super talented tour guide KEVIN, he made our day fulfilling. As we cruise, he will guide us for everything you will see on both side of the river. His great sense of humour spiced up the excitement and experience. Kudos to the management for such a wonderful tour. The music is lovely and so fitting for the tour. Do not think twice to get this tour, it is worth the trip.

I absolutely LOVED our tour! The boarding was quick and easy, and we were off on our tour punctually at the top of the hour. The sights from the water are unmatched, and the tour guide supplemented the views with a wonderful insight into the city’s architectural history. I learned lots, saw lots, and had a super fun time!

The set up of tour was a little questionable but it all worked out. However, Kevin (big city Kev-O) was awesome. We definitely appreciate his story telling, his humor, and keeping the boat entertained during the tour. We could definitely feel his love for NYC and feel his his passion for his city. There is a reason NYC is called the greatest city in the world and Kevin is part of that greatness. Thank you Kevin and we’ll be back to the NYC because of how you made us feel! No need to change your name to Derek, you got 5 stars from us!

Had a great time with the cruise and crew. Micheal was amazing and a great host. For 39 years he's been doing this and you only have 2 more weeks to see him before he retires. Great experience and the staff was very gentle during boarding and throughout the tour. We made reservations for 12:30 and reached at 12:15.. no problem.

Amazing 1-hour sunset tour! We took the 5pm slot (arrived at 4:30pm - boat took off around 5:10pm) and caught gorgeous views of the skyline and Statue of Liberty. The boat was spacious (fits 150+ easily), the music was great, and Kevin the MC was hilarious (outside of the views, Kevin was definitely another highlight!). We ended up walking to the pier (easy to find) instead of taking the shuttle; I’d recommend that based on other reviews of shuttles not arriving on time. If I’m being honest, I think some of the other reviews are unfair - if there are >150 people in line for one bus, you should find alternative ways to get to the pier as there clearly won’t be enough space to fit you. Anyhow, at the end of the trip, the free shuttles waiting to take us back to Times Square, Central Park, etc. were a great touch! Overall would highly recommend, we had a great time 😊

While walking to Battery Park, a rep suggested this cruise. Since it was already 3:00 PM and we were worried about making it to the island, a sightseeing cruise ended up being the perfect alternative. They even worked with us on the price to make it more affordable! The process was seamless—they bussed us up to Pier 76 to board. The boat had great snacks, and our host was incredibly knowledgeable. A highlight was stopping at the Statue of Liberty for photos while "Welcome to New York" blasted over the speakers—a fun, cheesy touch! If you’re short on time but still want the full experience, this is a great choice.
